Middle school. Awkward times... That's where we first met. I (Michael) remember the first moment I saw Jeanette. It was orientation day at White River Middle School. The students gathered in the lunch room that smelled like a mix of sneakers and pizza friday. The stale green fluorescent lighting took a second to get used to as I looked around at all the new faces I'd be going to school with and... time stopped... as soon as my eyes landed on Jeanette I was in love, or limerence, or... the feeling of love as a 13 year old boy understands.

Though we never dated in school, looking back at the pictures you'd think we had. Dances, parties, Friday night lights. Always friends but never crossing the line to romance...

Until...

A global pandemic shut down the world as we know it and we reconnected in Washington and fell In love, real love, REAL LOVE I'M TELLING YOU, and we moved in together and played house with our dogs, Presley and Nugget, and when the world opened up again we moved to LA so I could play make believe with my friends again.

Back to now (Jeanette here), after almost four years in LA, we’ve had a blast exploring the city together. I've met all of Michael’s amazing friends, made some of my own, continued to learn about film and why Michael loves this city so much. I've also found my own routine—running trails, exploring farmers' markets, and landing an incredible job with the best coworkers anyone could ask for, in a city full of limitless opportunities.

Christmas time of 2024 Michael decided it was the right moment to propose & I said Yes. This brings us to the present day.

The both of us are beyond excited for what’s to come as we continue to grow together and see what God has planned for our future. We’re grateful to each and every one of you for being a part of our journey and supporting us every step of the way.
